Company Vision General Information We have formed a company that rebuilds and creates new beaches, shores and barrier islands, while reducing undertow in salt water and fresh. A void created because communities are rejecting the dredging methods is leaving many resorts, cities, states and countries in dire need of beach restoration. We purpose to fill that void. Our patented method, The Walking Sand Snare, is superior to all other methods of beach reclamation. Our method saves energy and protects the environment. Many beach areas are already expressing great interest in the method. We take the force of nature and redirect it to rebuild your beach rather than erode it. Why should beaches be repaired? According to the Army Corp of Engineers, 75% of vacations in the USA are at beaches, so this is a very large market. People prefer wide beaches that do not get into deep water too quickly. Repairing or improving your beach is an investment in the tourism industry. Wide beaches protect the shore front buildings, shore cliffs, and dunes from storms. The shore front properties are more valuable when the beach is wide and flat. It develops a greater confidence in the durability of the beach and its surrounding structures. Economic Impact
Another impact of beach damage is that the property values are reduced, hurting the investors in these properties. Beach damage also impacts the abundance of sea life. Repairing a beach with the dredge and fill method kills much of the sea life. Reduced sea life impacts the fishing industry, both sport fishing and commercial fishing. The need for the Walking Sand Snare Beaches, shore lines, barrier islands, and river banks all need regular maintenance and restoration. Natural forces are constantly working, slowly eroding many beaches. The flow of most rivers damage the banks and channels. For most areas winter produces a loss of beach width. Powerful storms and the dredging process itself can destroy beaches and barrier islands overnight. Each year hurricanes, cyclones, typhoons, tsunamis and large storms create immediate, severe damage. Dredging itself has caused drownings due to the under tow created in the beach restoration. Renovations and new construction requires beach restoration and creation. When beaches are narrow property values are drastically lowered, protection from future storms is weakened and commercial draw is significantly lessened or reduced. Beach restoration is actually profitable. |
